By using the DEED service you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. DEED reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, and your continued use of DEED constitutes your consent to such changes.
DEED reserves the right to terminate your account for the violation of any of these terms at any time and without notice.

DEED respects each individual's right to personal privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to assist you in understanding how DEED will collect, use and safeguard any personal information you provide.
DEED has implemented processes intended to protect DEED Members’ information and maintain security of data. Each account holder is assigned a unique Email and password, which is required to access their account. It is your responsibility to protect the security of this login information. We have attempted to protect DEED servers by locating them in areas with security procedures, use of firewalls and implementing other generally available security technologies. These safeguards help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of data, but no guarantee can be made that you information and data will be secure from intrusions and unauthorized release to 3rd parties.
Account information
When you create a DEED account, you provide some personal information, such as your name, sex, password, email address, caste/community, level, faculty and district. Some of this information, for example, your name, sex, education, area of interest, competency/ skills is listed publicly on the DEED service, in search results. DEED will also collect email addresses from those who contact us via email. The account information we collect is not distributed or sold to a 3rd party. It is used primarily to communicate with you about your DEED account, and where needed as part of certain DEED features. You may update your account information in your dashboard at any time.  
Application data
The DEED service is primarily designed to help you create your online resume so that you will represent yourself in effective way to the probable employers. Most of the information you provide to DEED is information you are asking DEED to make public. You should be careful about all information that will be made public by DEED. Use of the information by DEED, or stakeholders, namely governmental, private, UN agencies, I/NGOs, may be made with no compensation paid to you with respect to the content that you submit post, transmit or otherwise make available through the filled-up DEED membership form.
However, any information collected by DEED may be shared if it is necessary to investigate, prevent or prosecute illegal activities, suspected fraud, violations to the Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law. DEED may also share information if it is acquired by the stakeholders i.e. the employment providers or merged with another company. In this event, DEED will notify you before information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. DEED reserves the right to use and disclose any information collected that is not in personally identifiable form.
Third-party websites
DEED is not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from the DEED website, nor the information or content contained therein. When you use a link from the DEED website/service to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to the DEED website, is subject to that website's own rules and policies.
DEED reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently.
